ANGER MANAGEMENT/DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TREATMENT PROGRAM

The Domestic Violence/Anger Management Prevention Treatment Program is part of The NESS Counseling Center's deep commitment to relieving emotional pain and suffering, and to improving the quality of life for its clients. The Center utilizes the psychosocial rehabilitation model to facilitate development toward the client's highest level of functioning.

The Domestic Violence/Anger Management Prevention Treatment Program is designed primarily to assist participants, both men and women, to overcome domestic violence barriers which impede their ability to work and lead productive lives.

The Domestic Violence/Anger Management Prevention Treatment Program offers case management and counseling services for perpetrators of domestic violence abuse. In addition to providing direct services at the Center, the staff may work assertively with the client or call appropriate resources for help. Every effort is made to help the client develop a physically safe and emotionally stable environment. Interventions are focused on helping remove barriers to employment and encouraging the development of positive self-esteem and family life.
