SAFETY ZONE - MONITORED VISITATION/MONITORED EXCHANGES

Supervised Visitation

At The NESS Center, we offer a safe and friendly environment for your children. We provide monitored visitations and exchanges for families that have been victims of separation, divorce or domestic violence. This can encourage a healthier parent/child relationship and at the same time ensure the safety of both adults and children.

This service may decrease the chance of inappropriate behavior in front of the children, which in turn may eliminate angry moments that the children may witness. A child monitor will see that during the visit no improper behavior occurs, and will be with the children at all times.

Monitored Exchanges

We provide a neutral setting where families can have child exchanges. This eliminates the need for any communication and any inappropriate behavior between the parents.

We Care

Our facility is a caring and safe environment. The staff of trained monitors is warm and friendly. They are looking out for the best interests of the children.

Q&A

Q: How do I start visitation?

A: Each parent fills out an initial intake and then a time and date is set up.

Q: Will my child be safe?

A: Yes. There is a qualified monitor in the room at all times.

Q: How does the court know that the visitations are going well?

A: If requested, the court will get a progress report. Sometimes, when necessary, letters are sent to the court.

Q: How much do I have to pay?

A: The fee is determined on a sliding scale based upon the gross annual income of the parent.

Other Things You Need To Know

With a referral to the Program, by either a judge or a mediator, both parents are required to schedule a one hour individual intake appointment at the Safety Zone.

Visits and exchanges are intended to be transitional. Court orders are usually made with hours and days. However, specific days and times will be determined by the Safety Zone.

The court order will indicate who pays for the service.

We're Here For You

The Safety Zone is open for visitation Sunday - Thursday, 9:00AM - 7:00PM, Friday 10:00AM - 2:00PM, based upon availability.
